EOTD: Urban Decay Naked 1 (23/02/2014)

It was a Sunday night and I was bored out of my mind. What better way was there to cope than to practice my eyeshadow skills (okay I was kidding, there were better things to do but I wanted to play with my makeup more)?

I could’ve done my eyelashes better, but I was on my way out and I was being rushed to go. Oops!

Scroll down for more photos of the EOTD I made!

First I primed my lids with MAC Prep + Prime Eye, then I used (1) Naked and (2) Virgin (1) to shade the whole eyelid from the upper lash line to the brow arch and (2) to highlight the brow bone; (3) Smog, (4) Dark Horse, and (5) Half Baked on (3) the upper lash line to the crease, beginning from around quarter an inch from the inner corner towards the outer corner, with a heavier application on the area of the crease approaching the outer corner, (4) the outer area of the crease, blended out towards the brow bone, and (5) the inner corner, blended inwards to the eyelids, and a little outwards approaching the lower lash line. I then lined my upper lash line and lower water line with MAC Photogravure Technakohl Liner, primed my eyelashes with MAC Prep + Prime Lash, and finished off with Benefit They’re Real! Mascara.

For my eyebrows, I filled in the sparse areas with MAC Eye Brow in Lingering and lightened the hairs with MAC Brow Set in Girlboy, and for the dark circles on my under-eye area, I used MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20.

I wish I took a photo of my EOTD with my eyelids closed so you could see how the colors blended together, but for some reason that didn’t cross my mind. Too bad!

Anyway, as indicated in the title of this post, I used the ever-famous Urban Decay Naked 1 eyeshadow palette for this look. I included a photo of the palette for your quick reference. You may click the photo for the full version (and so you can read the names of the shades on the palette).

…I know I need more practice, but I’d like to believe I’m getting better at this, ha-ha!
